Vacancy summary
As our ESG Manager, you'll lead the InfraMobility Sustainability Committee, bringing together members from Hansea, Munckhof, and DWS. You'll offer visible leadership, inspire our team, and provide guidance on our environmental, social, and governance (ESG) strategies and ethical practices. Your responsibilities will include monitoring and reporting on key ESG metrics and obligations (CSRD) across all corporate divisions. In collaboration with our Senior Management Team, you'll oversee the management of both internal and external ESG impacts and stakeholder relationships
Responsibilities
In close collaboration with the Directors of InfraMobility, you will have the following responsibilities:
- ESG Strategy Development: Develop a comprehensive ESG strategy, including appropriate frameworks, aligned with the organization's goals and values, emphasizing areas most relevant to stakeholders and the industry.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Cultivate strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring transparent communication and collaboration to achieve ESG objectives.
- ESG Reporting and Compliance: Oversee all mandatory and voluntary ESG reporting, ensuring timely submissions and compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
- KPI Tracking and Measurement: Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to monitor ESG performance, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
- Sustainability Reporting: Prepare high-quality sustainability reports that effectively communicate the company's ESG progress and impact to stakeholders.
- Risk Management Integration: Incorporate ESG risks, including insurance-related risks, into the organization's risk assessments and mitigation strategies.
- Training and Awareness: Develop and implement ESG training programs across the organization to build awareness and capacity for sustainable practices.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate closely with various departments, including HR, Finance, IT, HSE, Operations, Sales and Marketing, Customer Service, and logistics, to embed ESG thinking into core business operations.
- Leadership and Change Management: Lead efforts to integrate ESG principles and a sustainability mindset throughout the organization, driving cultural change and commitment to ESG goals.
- Board and Executive Reporting: Provide regular and timely progress reports and presentations to the Executive Committee and Board, demonstrating the value of ESG initiatives and their alignment with the organization's strategic vision.
Candidate qualifications
- At least a completed higher education degree;
- Relevant experience in a similar position;
- Excellent leadership qualities;
- Expertise on ESG subject matter, combined with a good working knowledge of applicable legislation such as CSRD.
- Proven history of coordinating and drafting sustainability reports against a voluntary or compulsory ESG standard.
- Affinity with the passenger transportation industry and/or fleet management/automotive technology is a plus;
- A very good proficiency of the Dutch and English language, both spoken and written.

- Proven leadership skills and an influential advisor to both Senior Leadership as well as more junior employees.
- Change agent with a proven history of leading and effecting change in a multi-national organization.
- Effective communicator (both spoken and written).
- Project Manager with a proven history of managing multi-disciplinary complex projects.
- Data manager capable of coordinating, managing, and interpreting data streams relevant to ESG.
- Team player, with ability to work collaboratively within cross-functional teams and across diverse stakeholders.
Location
While InfraMobility supports home working, this new position will require visible leadership and we expect at least for the first 12 months the candidate will be physically present and spend two days working within our Hansea HQ in Antwerp and two days at the Munckhof HQ in Horst, Limburg. The candidate is free in their choice of fixed location.
