WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO AS LEAN SPECIALIST?

As LEAN Specialist you will work on the continuous improvement and operational excellence of our logistics service to our customers! You support our employees and managers within the site in achieving our LEAN targets. You do this, for example, by implementing and further developing CEVA procedures and standards. Through your contribution, our work is organized more effectively and efficiently. You promote the principles of LEAN, Kaizen and 5S. You also enjoy data analyzing, because it is up to you to collect important dates and data as management information. You use this, among other things, for audits and controls, in which you are closely involved. You notice any deviations and report them to your manager and supervisors. In short:

• Enthuse your colleagues and involve them in continuous improvement (for example, chairing meetings about LEAN and giving workshops about 5S, Cycle-time measurements and Kaizens).
• Collect date for monthly reports, create graphs and overviews and share them with stakeholders;
• Provide guidance in carrying out kaizens and managing the administration of (results of) kaizens;
• Guiding and supporting the annual Site Classification Assessments (SCA) to take the sites to a higher level;
• Manage and coordinate the 5S audit process;
• Responsible for document management and ensuring that our work instructions and procedures are periodically audited;
• Providing opportunities for improvement regarding the use of LEAN within the area.

WHAT DOES THIS ROLE MATCH WITH YOU?

You are someone who is always looking for improvement, you are very familiar with LEAN and have experience with its application. You have strong analytical skills with which you look at the quantity and quality of our processes. You have very good social and communicative skills, allowing you to motivate, convince and advise others. You also enjoy giving presentations and training. You are also practical and have a problem-solving attitude. You bring the following knowledge and experience:

• MBO/HBO working and thinking level, possibly just graduated;
• You have knowledge of 5S and Kaizen;
• Extensive experience with Microsoft Office (Excel is an advantage);
• Experience with various improvement projects;
• Excellent command of the Dutch and/or English language.

WHERE WILL YOU BE WORKING?

You will work at one of our sites in Venray, where CEVA has an entire campus of warehouses! Besides the professional environment where there are many learning and development opportunities, there is also plenty of room for fun and bonding with your colleagues. As a LEAN Agent you will become part of the Operational Excellence department, where you report to the Operational Excellence Manager.

• A gross salary between € 2,935 and € 4,064 depending on your work experience and education level;
• An annual contract with the prospect of permanent employment;
